The Islamic Society of Wichita is dedicated to serve the Muslim community within Wichita city who are going through times of financial difficulties, with basic needs. ISW uses Zakat, Sadaqa and Fitra funds to meet these needs.
Islamic Society of Wichita offers short term financial assistance to the needy and poor of the community.
In order to apply for Zakat assistance please do the followings:
- Fill in the Application forEligibility of Zakat Foundation Assistance which can be downloaded from HERE.
- Attach a copy of your validID
- Attach proof of income (last three paychecks, or most recent income tax filing and/or any government assistance letter)
- Attach the billsthat you need assistance with and any other proof needed to support your request.
- Send the application and all of the required documents mentioned above to officemanager@myisw.org
- Office manager will contact you to inform you about the status of your request once a decision has been made by the ISW Finance Committee.

ISW reserves the right to deny or accept part or all of your application. All decisions are made based on information verification and need, and according to the resources available at ISW. ISW is not obligated to assist, but aims to offer aid as much as possible to those in need.
